HCM Conference: From Dirichlet forms to Wasserstein Geometry

Date: February 14 - 18, 2022

Venue: Lipschitz lecture hall, Mathematics Center, Endenicher Allee 60, 53115 Bonn

Organizers: Matthias Erbar, Martin Huesmann, Eva Kopfer, Max von Renesse, Hendrik Weber

Description: This conference is devoted to developments at the interfaces of stochastics, analysis and geometry that have built powerful, often unexpected links across a variety of fields and have deepened the understanding of the interplay of stochastic dynamics, partial differential equations, and geometric features of the underlying spaces as well as of singular behaviour in stochastic systems.

The conference program will host a series of plenary lectures by leading scholars in the morning of February 14 -18. It will be accompanied by a conference on "New trends in Dirichlet forms and optimal transport" hosting parallel sessions on dedicated topics during the afternoons.
