Winter School: Birational methods in hyperkähler geometry

Date: December 1 - 5, 2014

Venue: Lipschitz Lecture Hall, Mathematics Center, Endenicher Allee 60, Bonn

Organizer: Vladimir Lazić

Description: The aim of the Winter School is to be an invitation to recent progress in the geometry of hyperkähler varieties, a large part of which is made possible by the application of methods from the Minimal Model Program. The focus will be on Lagrangian fibrations, Zariski decompositions and termination of flips on hyperkähler manifolds, the Cone conjecture and further topics.

Lecturers:

  • Daniel Greb (Ruhr-Universität Bochum)
  • Anne-Sophie Kaloghiros (Brunel University London)
  • Christian Lehn (Institut de mathématiques de Jussieu)
  • Gianluca Pacienza (Université de Strasbourg)
