Hausdorff School: “Hyperkähler Geometry”

Special Event organized by HCM and the ERC Synergy Grant HyperK

Unfortunately, due to the current sanitary situation, the school has to be postponed to a later date.

However, in order to make the start of the ERC Synergy Grant Hyper K we will organize a little virtual activity couple of talks in the first week of September (probably with three talks on Friday afternoon September 4th, more informations will be announced later).

The school will by an AIM-style meeting with a few lectures in the morning and with small groups in the afternoon working on research projects. The main focus will be on singular hyperkähler varieties and hyperkähler categories.

The workshop aims exclusively at PhD students and young postdocs.

  •  Alexander Kuznetsov (Steklov Institute, Moscow)
  •  Alexander Perry (IAS, Princeton)
  •  Giulia Saccà (Columbia University, New York)

In case you are interested, please fill out the application form online. The number of participants at the afternoon sessions is limited to approx. 30. Financial support for those is provided by the ERC Synergy Grant HyperK. The lectures are open to a wider audience. Limited financial support for PhD students and potsdocs may be available.

To be considered for participation, a CV and Letter of Intent (1 page) are required, as well as the name and contact information of a potential reference. (At this time, letters of recommendation are not requested.) Only one document can be uploaded, so please combine all documentation into one PDF.

Please note: Online registration is mandatory for all participants. Everyone will be notified in due time about whether participation and partial financial support is possible.
